Finnish textile designer Erja Hirvi has been bringing a little wildness to Marimekko since 1995. Her patterns often start with flowers, gardens, travel, and everyday observations, then wander somewhere much more interesting. Bold, loose, and happily imperfect, her work has a knack for making nature feel graphic, modern, and very alive. Basically, she lets the flowers off the leash.
