Wool is basically a spill-resistant superhero — most juice or coffee drips can be stopped by a quick dab with a dry cloth before they sneak into the fibers. This natural wonder also breathes and self-cleans, so a little fresh-air airing does them a world of good.

Wash on a wool cycle at max 30°C with a gentle spin (600 revs). As soon as the wash is done, lay it flat to dry — no hanging, unless you’re into stretched-out throws. Make sure it’s bone-dry before folding away. Got a heavy hitter like wine or oil? Call in the pros and send it to the dry cleaner.
