Welcome back to Maine, Studio Arhoj. 🖤

Years ago, before I lived here, I admired More & Co from afar. It was one of those shops that made me curious about Maine, and eventually helped me fall a little bit in love with this place. It was also where I first discovered Studio Arhoj.

Years later, while working at my last job, I made it to Copenhagen and visited Studio Arhoj myself. Color, ceramics, tiny faces staring back at me from the shelves. Obviously, I was smitten.

Fast-forward through a move to Maine, a career change, and one little shop of my own.

Now the Ghosts, Familia, Dots, and Hana Vases have landed at Hei-Hey.

So I took a few of them out to reacquaint themselves with Portland. They’ve been sightseeing. They’ve been posing. They have very strong opinions about the city.

Studio Arhoj is back in Maine.

And getting to be the one welcoming them back feels pretty darn special.
