Maija Louekari is a Helsinki-based illustrator who turns daily life into oversized stories—on fabric, porcelain, and pretty much anything else she can get her hands on. Her Marimekko designs, from wild florals to playful cityscapes, are bold, joyful, and just the right amount of rebellious. She proves that patterns aren’t just background—they’re the main character (and sometimes the whole mood).
