Dishwasher, oven, microwave + freezer safe. Pop off the leather handle before washing, and peel off the bottom sticker before first use. It contains a bit of metal, and microwaves are famously bad at accessorizing.

Sami Ruotsalainen gives Marimekko’s big patterns somewhere very good to live. The Finnish designer created the Oiva tableware collection, a lineup of beautifully simple shapes built for coffee, cereal, dinner, seconds, and whatever else you’re serving. Clean enough to let the pattern party happen, clever enough to look pretty darn good naked, too.
