Wash separately on a warm or hot cycle with plenty of water and a pinch of detergent. Skip softener, bleach, and the dryer — linen likes it simple. Reshape while damp, lay flat to dry, and press on the linen setting if you like it crisp. A few fibers may shed (check that lint filter). Natural linen lightens with every wash — part of the charm.

Matti Pikkujämsä is a Helsinki-based illustrator and graduate of the University of Art and Design Helsinki. He draws the little moments that make life big: a smile, a glance, a cozy chair—with a warm sense of humor that feels like your funniest friend in illustration form.
