Rinne means ridge in Finnish, and this towel wears the name well. Bold diagonal bands create the quiet kind of drama that doesn't need to raise its voice. It's the design equivalent of that effortlessly stylish person who somehow looks put together while carrying an armful of sourdough and wildflowers.

Woven from 100% washed linen, Rinne is wonderfully absorbent, dries in a flash, and gets softer every time you wash it. It leaves glassware streak-free, has a handy hanging loop, and happily jumps between dish duty, bread-basket duty, guest towel, and all-around kitchen sidekick. Those gentle linen wrinkles? They're not flaws. They're proof it's living its best life.

Wash separately on a warm or hot cycle with plenty of water and a pinch of detergent. Skip softener, bleach, and the dryer — linen likes it simple. Reshape while damp, lay flat to dry, and press on the linen setting if you like it crisp. A few fibers may shed (check that lint filter). Natural linen lightens with every wash — part of the charm.

Elina Helenius has spent more than 25 years proving that textiles can have plenty to say without saying a word. A graduate of Aalto University and Finland's Textile Artist of the Year in 2012, her award-winning patterns have appeared in international collections and exhibitions around the world. Since 2018, she's been part of the design team at Lapuan Kankurit, creating beautifully considered textiles that quietly make everyday life look a whole lot better.

Lapuan Kankurit is the Finnish weaving mill that’s been turning yarn into joy since 1917. Four generations later, they’re still family-run, still stubborn about quality, and still proving that linen and wool can outlast any trend. Sustainability isn’t a side note here—it’s woven right in, from traceable natural fibers to textiles built to stick around for decades. Inspired by wild Nordic nature but softened for everyday life, their towels, throws, and sauna staples are proof that “slow” looks and feels a whole lot better.
