Care & Use

Machine wash warm (40°C) on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low or line dry. Skip the bleach and fabric softener — they’ll only weigh the fibers down. These towels just get softer and fluffier with every wash, so go ahead, make it a daily ritual.

RATIA is a Helsinki design brand founded by Ristomatti Ratia, designer and son of Armi Ratia, the legendary founder of Marimekko, so yes, good design runs in the family. Ristomatti believes in making classics: beautifully made textiles you can count on year after year, not something you’ll break up with next season. Quality materials, serious craftsmanship, and a healthy disregard for passing trends are still very much the RATIA way.
