Kate Pugsley is a Chicago-based illustrator and painter who knows her way around a gouache daydream. A RISD alum, she mixes bold colors, soft shapes, and just the right touch of whimsy in everything from magazine spreads for The New York Times to greeting cards for Red Cap Cards. Her work feels calm, charming, and a little bit magical—like everyday life, but cuter.

Red Cap Cards proves that a greeting card doesn’t have to be boring—or worse, forgettable. Based in Los Angeles, they collaborate with some of the best illustrators around to make cards you’ll want to frame, not toss. Equal parts witty and wonderful, Red Cap keeps snail mail feeling fresh.
