Hei-Hey reopens May 15

Hei-Hey reopens May 15

The shelves are stocked. The stripe situation is thriving. The online shop is stretching awake. And after a whole lot of lifting, painting, unpacking, rearranging, re-rearranging, and wondering where the scissors disappeared to this time, Hei-Hey officially reopens May 15.

You’ll find the new permanent shop at 247 Congress Street in Portland, Maine, with online order fulfillment resuming the same day for everyone shopping from afar, from bed, or while pretending to work.

What began as a holiday pop-up somehow snowballed into a real brick-and-mortar shop. Turns out Portland wanted more color, more pattern, more Nordic goodness, and more tiny objects that spark alarming levels of emotional attachment.

The new space has more room for all of it: thoughtfully made home goods, gifts, accessories, and the kinds of everyday things that quietly improve your mood while sitting there looking excellent.

There’s new product arriving daily, furniture still trickling in, and a few opening surprises coming along for the ride too.

Thank you for sticking around through the moving boxes, delayed timelines, ladder marathons, website hiatus, and general behind-the-scenes chaos. Building this little world has been equal parts exhausting and exciting, and I’m so ready to finally throw the doors open.

Come say hei starting May 15! 🖤
